The first question to ask when designing a site

The most important and first question to ask if you are designing the interface for a website is "What do you want the site to accomplish?". By that I mean, who is your target user and what user need does the site or service satisfy? If you can't answer that question, you might as well save you time and money. User experience is the key to a successful site.

Life Ten Years Down the Road

I have a message for those of you who are single and in college. Life gets more and more complicated as you get older. I know it doesn't seem like it now, but it does.

Life is not only more complicated, it gets busier and busier.

My best advice is to weigh your big decisions carefully. Find someone that you respect who is at least 10 years older than yourself, and ask for their advice.

Make your decisions based on what you want your life to be like in ten years.
